Department of Photography
The department is concerned with researching and proposing photographs that trace the history of this art: starting with the plates and prints of the late 19th century, moving on to the great Italian and international authors of the 20th century, and ending with the contemporary generations. Our work is aimed at embracing the taste of expert collectors, also proposing unique or unpublished works, and that of simple enthusiasts who will be able to find the best known authors or discover new ones.
The format of the Photography Auctions we offer allows for online participation via our portal, with pre-bidding and live online streaming.
The department's contact person, Barbara Frigerio, is available for appraisals and estimates of photographic works with a possible proposal for auction sale.
It is possible to request an estimate both for individual works and for entire collections.
